A truthful, qualified instructor will agree that a competent rider takes upwards of 5 - 10 sessions of independent practice on the water, Freeriders can give students a good grounding where they will gain the basics to consolidate safely and independently after 2 - 4 lessons.
It is important to understand that Kiteboarding isn't like surfing. Attempting kiteboarding without proper, certified instruction is a recipe for disaster and we have witnessed many preventable accidents as a result.
